- Lowest cost, as validation is automated
- Secures your site

- Doesn't instil confidence in your business (as your business is not vetted)

Organization Validation (OV)

- Proves your business is legitimate and that it either owns or has permission to run your website

- Takes up to two days to issue your certificate, although we do our best to get them issued the same day
- Can require faxed documents
- Slightly more expensive than DV due to human vetting costs

- Ecommerce sites
- Anyone who wants to prove that both their site and their business is trustworthy

Extended Validation (EV)
|
- Activates the green bar of trust
- Instils highest levels of confidence in your online customers
- Protects your site against phishing attacks

- More expensive than DV and OV as there is more vetting, and vetting is audited prior to certificate issuance
- Vetting procedures and issuance takes longer than OV
