In order to generate a CSR for Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 4.0, please follow these steps:
- Open Internet Information Services 4 (IIS)
- Open the Key Manager
- Input the Organization (O), Organization Unit (OU) and Common Name (FQDN – Fully Qualified Domain Name – www.yourdomain.com). This MUST reflect the web server DNS Name. Click Next
- Select the name and where the file will be saved (Root of Hard Drive, or Desktop is advisable)
- Click Next and the Wizard will close.
This file can now be submitted via the web site.
