In light of these changes, Comodo CA has decided to re-establish their brand and forge a new identity as Sectigo.

Comodo CA is now Sectigo
Sectigo will move forward with new and existing solutions to protect your employees, customers, intellectual property, and overall interests from online threats
Products will transition from being Comodo-named to Sectigo-named. For example, Comodo EV SSL is now Sectigo SSL EV.

If I have a Comodo CA product, do I need to make changes?
No. You do not need to make changes to your existing solutions until they are due for renewal.
Will my support level change?
No. You will receive the same expert service and support from your SSL247® Account Manager and support team.
Do I need to reinstall my certificates when the new brand launches?
No. Your Comodo-branded certificates will remain in place until they expire.
Will I need to change my Comodo TrustLogo to a new trust logo/site seal?
Yes. A new Sectigo Trust Seal has been released. Learn more here.
When will the name change and rebrand take place?
The rebrand will take place beginning in November 2018. We will continue to update you on all updates as Comodo CA transitions to Sectigo.
What will happen to the legacy Comodo trusted roots?
Comodo Certificate Authority roots will remain trusted. Any newly issued certificates will continue to have a Comodo root until the new brand is established.
Will Comodo continue to show as the Certificate Authority in web browsers?
Yes. Comodo will continue to be shown as the Certificate Authority in browsers until the rebrand is complete.
