NOTE: This only applies to CAV Beta 1.1


Due to some problems faced in uninstalling CAV Beta 1.1 which was using InstallShield to install/uninstall we have made a de-installation utility. It will totally de-install CAV Beta 1.1

Please follow these steps

1. Download UninstallCAV1.1.zip from the downloads section of this site: https://support.comodo.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=view&parentcategoryid=19&pcid=0&nav=0
2. Extract UninstallCAV1.1.zip to get UninstallCAV1.1.exe
3. Copy UninstallCAV1.1.exe to the 'Comodo AntiVirus' folder i.e CAV installation path. (The default installation path for CAV is %program files%\\Comodo\\ Comodo AntiVirus.
4. Run UninstallCAV1.1.exe and click Uninstall button. It will un-install CAV beta.1.1 completely.

In case you deleted the 'Comodo AntiVirus' folder manually, you can reinstall CAV beta 1.1 and then follow the above steps for complete de-install of CAV beta 1.1.

The complete de-installation will fix 'Windows installer popups for CAV' bug.

Note: This also works in 'Safe Mode'
