Can I extend the dates on my old certificate instead of going through the renewal process?

May 25, 2018 in SSL Renewal FAQs

No, the dates are hard-coded into the certificate and cannot be changed.

Therefore at renewal time you will need to order a new certificate.

So that you don't have to do this every year, why not buy a certificate valid for more years
