Face to Face Document:

A Face to Face document is used to verify an individual as a natural person for an individual code signing or an EV certificate for a business entity.

The attached document contains the instructions and required forms needed by the Validation team if a Face Face is required to complete your order.

Note: The face-to-face verification form must be signed by a Notary who is authorized to conduct business in your area/country

OV Code Signing certificate as an individual.
The applicant for the Individual code signing certificate has 2 validation process options. The Face to Face might not be required depending upon the validation option. Please refer to the information found here for more details about the validation options for this certificate type.

If a Face to Face document is required, the Validation team will notify the applicant.

Once a Face-to-Face document is submitted, the Validation team will verify the Notary's credentials with the respective registration agency and process the accompanying documents.

Non-incorporated Business Entity applicants for Extended Validation (EV) Certificates

A "Business Entity" comprises the following options:

• General partnerships
• Unincorporated associations
• Joint ventures
• Sole proprietorships

The Face to Face document may be required to verify an individual of a business entity for an EV certificate. The Face to Face may not be required in your local jurisdiction. The Validation team will notify the applicant if it is needed.

Once the Face-to-Face document is submitted, The validation team will verify the Notary's credentials with the respective registration agency and process the accompanying documents.
